haha
well, i would have forgotten that MR DAWES if samuel didn't bring him up. haha. all those tutorials which we spent in the library and told him that we got stomachaches. damn stupid. but i guess we and he couldn't care less. haha.
but he was the tutor who gave me a 39 for my essay on "Has Commercialism ruined Sports?"
haha

anyway, today i had the most interesting cab ride ever.
i boarded the cab just outside hendon.
then the taxi driver started to ask me if i'm serving my NS and all...
then we talked abit about the training and stuff..
then the moment he knew that i was a commando officer, he was like all due respect and all.

here are just some sentences he said,

"you must be quite a someone to be able to get where you are."

"if you were my son, i would be very proud of you and tell all my friends about you."

"you're not just an officer, but of the elite unit."

"the way you put it, you're very humble."

haha. my goodness. i was in total shock. felt like a god. haha

but anyway, that's not really my point.
i just wanna say that actually, commando officers, the training that we go through is not that tough after all.
i mean, you all know me, i'm like a lazy fat bum who enjoys the food and aircon during bowling training.
if i can go through all those, i'm pretty sure many of you all out there can too. :)

so i said that actually, it's just a matter of having the right opportunities..
and that's when he said that i'm being humble. haha

i'm a god. :D
